Miley has arrived this morning to the hospital because she has been vomiting last night after dinning in a very famous restaurant. She is very worried because tonight she has to present the MTV music awards and she doesn´t have energy.

            B. SLIDE 2 , 3 and 4. Miley has ingested two eggs,200 grs. of meat and a salad for dinner last night. (may be the food can be poissoned)

 

• 2. Explain the nutrients found in EACH FOOD of Miley and properties of each nutrient that Miley has taken. (20 XP)

 

• 3. Name the parts of the digestive system (parts of the small intestine included). Miley had a Cancer in the colon 3 years ago and her colon was surgically removed, search in the internet and explain how is the small intestine of Miley now. (include the link in the slide)  (20 XP)

 

• 4. Explain the processes in each organ of the digestive system, what has happened to the food in each one? For example in the mouth, the food is broken in small pieces (30 XP).

 

           C. SLIDE 5. Miley´s father is worried about her health. He says that he thinks she has a proteins deficiency. Her weight is 50 kilograms. Calculate her EAR (Estimated average daily requirement) (3.7.5)  (10 XP)
